Dreaming With Faith

Hi Reader!

You’re familiar with SMART goals, right? Your goals should be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-bound, right?

And honestly, that’s a good place to start. You want to clearly define and consistently perform actions that make sense for your goals.

However, I’m a big believer in journeying with faith.

Let’s be for real, Reader, sometimes our dreams aren’t specific or realistic. They don’t always seem achievable, and we can’t always speculate exactly when we’ll achieve them.

In these situations, we just move and hope for the best.

Sometimes, God places things in our hearts that we can’t imagine pulling off, but still we push forward with the utmost confidence, trusting that everything will work together for good.

I wanted to wrap up January by sharing this. Your dreams or goals won’t always seem realistic or sensible to others. And while you should work to create a sustainable plan or system to power your dream, move with faith. Your journey, experience, risk, and sacrifice may be way more than you imagined.

Calculated plans won’t always cut it. There are times you’ll take the risk and move in with faith, trusting God to take care of the rest.

No, not foolish, inconsiderate decisions, but the kind of moments that mark history because people dare to build and move from what’s seen to what hasn’t been seen in their family, neighborhood, community, country, or even the world.

When you have such an “impossible” feat before you, SMART goals won’t suffice. Dream with faith.

Trust God, trust the process, enjoy your unique journey as much as possible.

Alright, that'll be all for now, until next Friday.

Light & Increase,

Osose Christabel.

Something to think about: Which “unrealistic” goal do you need to approach with faith?

I wrote an article about how to be consistent in life with anything. Do check it out.

Hi Reader! We have all that we need to be 1% better today, and repeat tomorrow. We just dislike the idea of starting small, asking for help, looking scrappy and enduring the hard things. We want the posh appearance, the expensive gear, the mainstream mentors, the huge capital.. So when someone asks you why you haven't started yet. You have a lot to say. “I don't have money. I don't have a good camera. I can't afford the course. I'm not this, I'm not that..” We love pointing to all that we...

Hi Reader! This is a repost by the way.🙈 Enjoy! Ever witnessed a heated debate about the greatest people in a field? Whether it's football, basketball, Hollywood, Kdrama or a comparison of your local universities. Of course, such an argument is to be expected when people pick favourites even among people, places, or things with great qualities. The truth is, every competitor in a “who's the greatest” debate possesses excellent attributes worth admiring and discussing. But, since only a very...

Hi Reader! Last week, I talked about expressing love and gratitude, but let's keep it a hundred, these aren't the only feelings or expressions we manage in our relationships. The closer you are to someone, the more their words and actions could hurt you because you believe they should know and do better. So how do you express hurt, anger, or disappointment without escalating the situation? Take it from someone who's been on both ends, escalating and de-escalating issues, depending on my word...
