Hi there, Life's tough sometimes, especially when you want something great out of it. It doesn't just hand it over to you. When you have a dream or a goal, life seems to say, “show me how badly you want it”. It seems eager to test every part of your resolve and commitment. You want to create a solution that hasn't existed before, you want to replicate a business success story, or get to the pinnacle of your career and set a new record. I imagine life says, “they all say the same thing, let's see how serious this one is”.😂 So, how far can you go? I'm not referring to unthinkable effort, because what we need to do is often obvious. Stick with a couple of actions or activities for as long as it takes. Yesterday, I watched a YouTube short of an Olympic swimmer who won a gold medal for the tenth time. Something he said struck me, he practiced every day for a whole year, a whole year?! Most of us struggle to remain consistent after a couple of weeks even if the action we're taking isn't daily. But do you love something enough to do it every day or every week for a year without fail? I've been reflecting on how I waver in consistency doing the things I love. If a swimmer can swim every day for a year, holidays included, why can't I be more consistent? Most of us have an idea about what our goals demand from us. Why don't we do it then?
A system is your method of doing something, your action plan. Your routine, your activities, and frequency. How you spend your day, your week, that's structure.
Work can be fun if you love it, but even the work you love gets painful and sacrificial. Are you patient enough to stick with it through the painful seasons where results are quiet? On that random Tuesday when you feel down, will you still put in the rep? This second point is where I've been calling myself out recently, that's why it's today's topic. So when I ask how far you can go, what I'm really asking is how long can you implement a system and embrace the pain of working towards your goal? That's where you build capacity for the future you've envisioned. Alright, that'll be all for now, until next time. Osose Christabel. Question for you: What's one positive thing you've heard a person you admire repeat as their “secret” that you're yet to implement?

Hi there! 2025 is gradually coming to a close, and it’s Thanksgiving season. Happy Thanksgiving!💃 In Nigeria, we usually celebrate Thanksgiving at church, an annual event where we thank God for the entire year. Every church chooses a specific Sunday, but it often falls in November or the first 2 weeks of December. In the spirit of giving thanks, I want to highlight a potential obstacle. When we reflect on our year, we tend to think of achievements in terms of monetary or status value. Did we...
Hi there, You know how they say comparison is the thief of joy? Well, don't we know it? When we look around us, we see many amazing people. Good-looking, hardworking, successful, even people you've known for years, and they suddenly seem to be on a different level than you. Feelings of inferiority may begin to seep in. You're not alone. It's a feeling most people experience at some point because we're human. That means we often crave the good things that others have. However, it's not...
Hi there, Let’s talk about how easy it is to talk. I know this from experience. You find something interesting and exciting, you can’t stop talking about it. You talk about the book you're going to read, a course you're going to take, a new skill you’re going to learn, a strategy you wish to implement. You even post about it on socials. But days turn into weeks, and weeks into months. You find something new and inspiring to talk about. However, you either haven’t acted on your previous plans...
